Swimming Sports OVER!!

Well, we have just finished our annual swimming sports and it went ahead without any mishaps or delays.  Just a few things that I might do differently next year is to get the parent helpers email adresses instead of phone numbers, it is a lot easier and convenient to email a group than try to get hold of them by home phone.  Another suggestion is to have a butterfly event, most likely an open event, as there were a few parents inquiring about it.  But other than that, I am happy to have had it go well and now it is over and done with!!  I will make sure that I thank the parents who helped, they were a big part in the running of the event.  And the teachers too, they were tops!!  :)  Okay, no more greazing!!

Well done….I have only heard great comments about the running of it and the execution of the day. I like the idea about getting email addresses - it’s got to save you time!! Perhaps the other thing you could look at is text messaging….just a thought.
In light of your sad news (well it is for us) how will you pass this (and all the other useful) information onto your replacement….maybe looking at that as a goal if you hadn’t thought of one????

Congrats on a successful swimming sports….and yah for getting your blogging done this week!!
